The past several weeks have been so full... full of settling into our new home, loving our little foster baby and then saying goodbye to her a couple of weeks ago, soaking up the sunshine and the mild summer breezes we've been blessed with, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the kicks and tumbles of our own sweet wee one in the womb.

(photo by my talented sister)But with all of this fullness has come a desire for a season of quiet-- at least in my little place here on the web-- and some re-ordering of priorities. I'm prayerfully considering the future of this blog, and while I haven't come to any definite decisions yet, things will be much quieter around here for a while, at least. I do want to continue to keep all of you updated about our little one, as so many of you have prayed for us and gone through the difficult journey of the past few years with us. You have shared in our sorrows and trials, and now we want you to be able to share in our joy as well.
Thanks to all of you who have checked up on us-- I am sorry to have let so much time slip by without any updates. I'll try to post again soon, but in the meantime, thanks for understanding. I hope you all are enjoying a wonderful summer!
Much love to all of you,
Beka

Beka, you have been in my prayers and I am thrilled that you and your family are well.
Beka--So glad for the update. I understand your need for 'quiet'---however, I am glad you plan on keeping us updated with news on the baby :)
I'm glad you all are doing well, and will look forward to any new posts in the future :)
Hi Beka :) Keeping you close in prayer. Love, Q
Enjoy your quiet, Beka.
Love the pictures of your home (those sunny windows!)
Blessings to you and yours....
was getting ready to email you to make sure all was well. There is a season for every purpose under heaven! Blogging, at different times, has to take a back seat to more important time fillers. My love for you won't change, no matter how often I see you here:). I'm so glad your pregnancy is going well, those little movements are amazing aren't they! If you are having a baby shower, please let me know about it, even though I won't be there physically. Love to you sister!

I'm glad to hear from you, dear Beka, and that all is well. Your pictures are beautiful. I'm happy you are having a quiet, relaxing summer. I think of you often.
Thank you for your updates. I am from Shelby, N.C. and I pray for you and your baby in your womb. You are an inspiration to me by how faithful you are to the Lord. Please update news about your baby. Thank you for your blog.
So glad to hear you are doing well! Thanks for the update. Enjoy the quiet season.
so glad to see your post and hear that you are doing well...please stay on blog until the little one comes so we can celebrate with you...
Love,
Mimi
p.s. love the pictures of your house and yard...
I was thrilled to see this post. So happy for you!
I still come over to your blog and read. I fully understand about slowing down. I am that way too. I actually found out the hard way that spending time more with close friends and hubby is MORE important than blogging. You see bumper stickers say turn off TV well, I think computers can be the same addiction too. Blog when feel like too and spend more time with hubby.
I would love to pregnancy photo, but you might not want to share that with the world. I understand! Your life will only get busier when baby comes into it, AND... if you plan to home school too. Enjoy your summer...
thank you for updating all of us on the baby
many prayers are wrapping around the three of you
Thanks for your posts on foster care and life in general. Your transparency and love for God is refreshing!
Beka ~ I keep meaning to get over here and comment. When I'm reading blogs I'm usually nursing and so while I stay somewhat up on reading, typing a comment is difficult.
I'm so glad all is going well with you; you sound very content. The abundance of life is truly a gift of God. Congratulations on your new home. What a joy and blessing it is to hear you enjoying every kick and tumble of your wee one!
Hugs to you.
